AMPERSINT® high-alloyed metal powder solutions for Pressing & Sintering (P/S)

Pressing & Sintering, the basic procedure of Powder Metallurgy (PM) allows the mass production of relatively complex geometries at a high production rate. The Pressing & Sintering process is a net-shape technology, and the resulting parts require only marginal to no post-processing. The method enables part manufacturers to choose from a wide range of material systems.

Typical applications are:

  • Automotive (gears, sprockets, cams, ratchets, levers, clutch plates, pressure plates, bearings, bushings)
  • Defense (firearms)
  • Tooling (power tools)

In close collaboration with our customers we produce high-alloyed AMPERSINT® metal powders of all major standard compositions, such as nickel- (Ni), cobalt- (Co) and iron- (Fe) based alloys, as well as customized solutions with tailored chemistries and particle size distributions. Available from small to large scale batch sizes.
